SXSW the center of the music universe. Sure a music journalist could (should) go down there with a “press pass”, contact bands ahead of time and plan well thought out, in depth band questions. That’s what one would expect. I decided to do something a wee bit different. I poised my “Simple Questions” to anybody that would talk to me. I went through back channels. I hunted these people down. I, ok, I watched a lot of music, had fun and sometimes I remembered “wow I should interview someone and take a picture (or two) and remember what I was doing down here”. A good time was had by all.
